LELO has an immediate need for an inspirational, talented and hands-on Business Development Manager to join our award-winning US and Canada team. This position will be working remotely from Canada. The ideal candidate is someone who can identify rising business opportunities, communicate new product developments, goods, and services to prospective clients, maintain a good working relationship with new and existing contacts as well as evaluate the current performance of the business and find ways to help the business reach its full potential. In addition, this individual will drive strategy implementation and execution with passion and a good business sense while inspiring positive change across the industry and the team.

Essential Job Functions:

You will be responsible for developing the business side of an organization. Additional job functions are listed below:

• Support all business development objectives, operational goals and company growth

• Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement

• Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting

• Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team

• Develop and execute innovative sales strategies

• Build and form new partnerships with potential clients and build loyalty within a market region

• Maintain a constant influence with every customer, ensuring team members are intensely focused on forging new relationships, managing accounts, and building loyalty by providing quality experiences for business customers

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional relationships with both internal and external partners

• Drive incremental revenue

• Bridge the worlds of retail and online business development by combining the company vision with field execution to create future business success

• Strong understanding of how to position solutions for business clients

• Perform related work as required

Required/Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The selected candidate will have knowledge/skills/abilities in the following areas:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration, sales and/or marketing

• Minimum of five years of relevant sales/marketing experience to include complex business development across multiple locations

• Cross-industry experience is welcome — a retail background is necessary

• Prior experience in luxury/premium consumer brands preferred

• Strong communications skills with the ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

• Negotiation skills

• Results-driven – be comfortable working on analytical tasks, trend forecasting and be comfortable reporting results to members of the management and executive team

• You have a passion for learning about LELO and INTIMINA products

• Must feel comfortable working for an adult brand and sexual wellness products

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel) and Google Drive

• Must be detail oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through

• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks

• You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule. Your work hours will be based on business needs

• Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast paced, demanding environment

• Ability to travel (both domestically/internationally)
